Cancellation policy
Clear, fair terms for changes to your booking — set out in full below.
Standard bookings (short & medium-term stays)
- 7 or more days before check-in: full refund of the total booking amount.
- 2–6 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Less than 48 hours before check-in: non-refundable.
Refunds are calculated from the date and time we receive your cancellation request, not the date you originally booked. Any service or booking fees stated as non-refundable at the time of booking remain non-refundable in all cases.
Corporate & relocation bookings
Bookings made under a corporate or relocation agency agreement follow the cancellation terms set out in that agreement. Where no specific terms have been agreed, the standard policy above applies.
Changes to your stay
Need to shorten, extend or move your dates rather than cancel outright? Contact us as early as possible — we'll always try to accommodate a date change before treating it as a cancellation, subject to availability.
Exceptional circumstances
If a property becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside your control (for example, an issue identified during a pre-arrival inspection), LetOption will offer a full refund or a comparable alternative property at no extra cost.
